Something in the app isn't working
Email us with your phone model and what you tapped just before it went wrong. A screenshot helps. If a translation looks wrong, include the word and the article title.
Reporting content or another user
Readers can publish their own articles to Explore. Every published article has a Report option in its menu, and you can block its author so you never see their articles again. Reports are reviewed by a person. Anything urgent — email us directly.
Deleting your account
Profile → Delete account. Your words, reading progress and profile are removed. This can't be undone. If you only want a fresh start, sign out instead.
Purchases and restoring
Lindy Reader is free — there's nothing to buy. If a paid option is ever added, it will be handled by the App Store or Google Play and restored from Settings on a new phone.
Your data
What we store and why is in the privacy policy. Words you tap are sent to a translation service to be translated. Videos you import stay private; text you paste is private unless you choose to publish it.
Languages and content
isiZulu, isiXhosa, Afrikaans, Sesotho and chiShona. If you publish in one of these and would like your writing in the app, we'd like to hear from you.
